Bio

I live with my family on an old bluestone quarry outside of Woodstock, NY - in the heart of the Hudson Valley.  The creative flow of the Catskills and the inspiring views of the Ashokan Reservoir push me to make art that is simple and vibrant.  I want my work to cut to the chase and resonate.  I like big paintings, hard edges, and bold blocks of color.

Raised on graphic design, logos, advertising, packaging, and digital illutrations, my art wants to quickly agree with viewer's iconic notions of sunsets, buildings, landscapes, people, and nostalgia.
